Who we are
Agility ECC contributes to Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure through the delivery of roads, bridges, tunnels and interchanges.
Established in Abu Dhabi in October 2013, Agility is a licensed local contractor holding Special Category classification from the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) for main roads, bridges and intersections, tunnels, and sub-sewerage networks.
Our capabilities span the full civil infrastructure scope, including land and marine bridges, tunnels, interchanges, roads, stormwater drainage, sewerage, and utility infrastructure networks. We deliver projects as a main contractor and, where the scale or complexity demands it, partner with leading international contractors through joint ventures and consortia, as demonstrated on the Mina Zayed Tunnel and Bridges 7 & 8 connecting Reem Island with the E12.
What we build
We deliver the whole infrastructure package, from earthworks and structures to the utility infrastructure networks beneath the road.

How we work
Safety first
Our OSH management system has held ADPHC approval since 2018 and is certified to ISO 45001. Our teams have worked 4 million man-hours without a lost-time injury on Bridges 7 & 8 and on Khaleej Al Arabi Junction, and 2 million on Bloom Living.
Quality and continuity
One risk-based Integrated Management System governs every project. Quality Registrar Systems certifies it to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 22301.

Our people bring international and local experience, from managers and engineers to skilled craftspeople. Dedicated engineering, planning and cost-control teams support every project.
Sustainability
Sustainability is one of our core values and has its own function within our HSEQ department. Our environmental management is certified to ISO 14001, and in 2026 the Abu Dhabi Chamber awarded us its Silver Sustainability Label.
Milestones

Agility Engineering & Contracting is founded in Abu Dhabi.

Work begins on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street, Package 1, for Musanada.

OSHAD (now ADPHC) approves our occupational safety and health management system.

Work begins on the Mina Zayed Tunnel, in joint venture with Itinera.

ISO 9001, 14001 and 22301 join ISO 45001 to complete our Integrated Management System.

The Mina Zayed Tunnel is completed: an AED 1.65 billion contract for Musanada.

The Mina Zayed Tunnel is named Road Project of the Year at the MEED Projects Awards.

Khaleej Al Arabi Junction wins the same award, our second year in a row.

We become the first construction company in the UAE with CIOB Chartered status.

Bridges 7 & 8 are completed for Bunya, after 4 million man-hours without a lost-time injury.
