- New bridge across the sea channel at Rabdan and increased Channel Bridge capacity
- Additional lane on the service road under Al Maqta Bridge
- 5 roundabouts on the commercial avenue and 2 on Bypass Road converted to signalised junctions
- 2 new roundabouts to improve connectivity
- New entrance to Al Maqta from Mussafah–Al Ain Highway (E22)
- Traffic signals, road drainage and street lighting for the roads and bridge
